The vegetables are flourishing in Painshill’s Kitchen Garden with some now ready to be harvested.
This year, Painshill’s Vegetable Stall will be located within the Kitchen Garden itself which means customers can purchase the produce without needing to enter the Park, perfect for our local visitors who just want to pop in to buy their locally produced veggies.
The Vegetable Stall will be open on selected days each week, between 10am-12.30pm, as follows:
June – 3rd/5th/11th/13th/17th/19th/25th/27th
July – 1st/3rd/9th/11th/15th/17th/23rd/25th/29th/31st
August – 6th/8th/12th/14th/20th/22nd/26th/28th
September – 3rd/5th/9th/11th/17th/19th/23rd/25th
October – 1st/3rd/7th/9th
All vegetables are sown from seed at Painshill using independent seed suppliers or our own saved seed, and are grown without the use of chemicals or synthetic fertilisers. The majority of seeds are also certified organic and include some wonderful heirloom varieties.
