Space and Tranquility

It’s an incredibly special place for anyone to visit, and but for those who have lost a loved one, Painshill offers something very memorable. It has all the space and tranquillity needed for peaceful reflection, whether taking a walk among the trees or sitting quietly by the lake.

Family and friends can take some comfort from this wonderful location together at a difficult time, as well as helping to support a small, independent charity. Funds from venue hire help preserve the historic landscape for generations to come.

Sponsor a Bench or Plaque

You may also be interested in sponsoring a bench or plaque at Painshill, and dedicating it to your loved one.

By sponsoring a bench, you’ll have somewhere to always come, sit and feel at home.

Sponsored plaques are placed on the wooden pergola in our Kitchen Garden. This historic walled garden is a beautiful and restorative space.

Things to See & Do

Painshill is an award-winning 18th century landscape garden where you are invited to walk around a work of art. Winding paths will take you on a journey to discover a living canvas with beautiful vistas and dramatically placed garden buildings. Stroll around the Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and promenade past follies, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and Turkish Tent.
