Come and join us on Sunday the 14th of September as we open the doors to our Kitchen Garden and lesser explored Walled Garden for Heritage Open Days 2025. - An 18th century themed children’s area
- The chance to ‘Ask a Gardener’ as a member of our fantastic Landscape team will be on hand to answer your horticultural questions throughout the morning
- Painshill ‘Kitchen Garden’ gin tasting sessions throughout the day
- A visit to the Painshill produce stall – see what the team have been growing and buy some delicious organic veg to take home (while stocks last)
- Meeting a few special guests from Painshill past!
Good to know:
Visitor parking is free and available on a first come first served basis.
Our Kitchen Garden is gravelled but the Walled Garden is accessible to all and includes an accessible entrance and exit.
Toilets, including an accessible toilet, will be available via the Walled Garden.
Refreshments (drinks and light snacks) will be available to purchase in the Walled Garden.
Due to space restrictions we are unable to allow chairs or picnicking in the Kitchen Garden or Walled Garden.
There is no booking required for the Kitchen Garden Open Day.
Please note that entry to the main Painshill landscape (including the Grotto, follies and Tea Room) is not included in this event and that tickets must be purchased if you wish to visit these areas.
Please be aware that due to the layout of the Kitchen Garden we may need to pause entry at times should we experience a large number of visitors.
