The King retains his Patronage of the Painshill Park Trust
We are delighted to announce that His Majesty has very kindly decided to retain his Patronage of the Painshill Park Trust.
Chairman of the Painshill Park Trust, Sir Stephen Lamport, said:
“This is marvellous news. The King has been personally associated with Painshill since the early days of the Trust, and his decision to continue this special link to us not only reflects His Majesty’s deep-seated concern for the natural world and Britain’s unique heritage, but also his wish to show his public support for all that Painshill stands for – a precious place of beauty and historic importance which offers peace and renewal to all who visit us.”
Paul Griffiths, Director of Painshill, said:
“It is a great privilege for the Painshill Park Trust to have The King as its Patron, and we very much hope that His Majesty will be able to return to Painshill in the years to come.”
