Finance Assistant
Painshill are seeking a seasonal finance assistant to join our small, friendly and busy team. This is a key role in a small finance team providing practical and high-quality support in the organisation and operation of the charity.
Painshill Park Trust is a charity which protects and restores a stunning award-winning 18th century landscape in the heart of Cobham, Surrey. Our objectives are to preserve and restore the landscape as closely as possible to its original concept and ensure its gifts are shared and accessible to all.
Job Summary
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for accurately recording income and expenditure as well as reconciling balance sheet control accounts and other day-to-day, month-end and year-end functions within the Finance department. Alongside this, ensuring that systems and processes are efficient and effective, and that internal and external regulations are adhered to in relation to payments and receipts..
Reporting to: Director of Finance & Administration
Location: Painshill, Portsmouth Road, Cobham, Surrey, KT11 1JE
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Hours of work: 8.30am – 5.00pm
