Wild Easter Camp
Event date: 13/04/2017
Have a wild time this Easter with campfires, wild art, bushcraft and den building (for children aged 8 to 13 years).
Follow the animal tracks through the wild woodland to set up camp in the heart of the enchanted forest, where you will build your very own cosy den and light your own fire the bushcraft way whilst toasting marshmallows. You will then spend a fun-filled afternoon of playing exciting woodland games, followed by the creative bushcraft tool station, where you can make exciting creations by carving wood.
Wild Wood Wednesday
It’s time to get building! Making huge sandcastles and micro-dens complete with flowing rivers and moats, before building a fire to make campfire doughnuts and other tasty fire cooked treats. Sculpt amazing clay creations, make muddy, messy tree trolls and create your own paints to decorate a woodland mask. Make your own outdoor games, including woodland hoopla and twangball.
Set out on an adventure with a morning constructing huge dens out of wood, leaves, mud and natural materials, before decorating your den with clay creatures and charcoal designs. Go on to enjoy an outdoor feast around the campfire with hot dogs, hot chocolate and fresh popcorn, before taking on adventurous challenges, including the blindfold rope trail, slackline, camo-hide-and-seek and more.
