Opening Times: 10am – 6pm (last entry 5pm)
Painshill will be closed on Thursday 4 June and Friday 5 June as we host a special event supporting our charity.
During this time, there will be no public access. We’ll reopen on Saturday 6 June and look forward to welcoming visitors again.

In addition please note that this event will also require a large set up from Thursday 28th May, and we expect the take down to be completed by Thursday 11th June.
The Landscape
Painshill is open daily, all year round, apart from on Christmas Day and Boxing Day when it is closed.
The Crystal Grotto
The Crystal Grotto is open in all seasons, apart from on Christmas Day and Boxing Day when Painshill is closed.
Please note, the Crystal Grotto is closed on Mondays due to maintenance (except for Bank Holiday Mondays).
The Crystal Grotto will also be closed for a wedding cermeony Friday 17 July.
Mr Hamilton’s Tea Room
Mr Hamilton’s Tea Room is open daily, all year round, apart from on Christmas Day and Boxing Day when Painshill is closed.

Things to See & Do
Painshill is an award-winning 18th century landscape garden where you are invited to walk around a work of art. Winding paths will take you on a journey to discover a living canvas with beautiful vistas and dramatically placed garden buildings. Stroll around the Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and promenade past follies, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and Turkish Tent.
