The Landscape
Painshill is open daily, all year round, apart from on Christmas Day and Boxing Day when it is closed.
Please note the Gothic Temple will be closed for wedding ceremonies on the following dates:
Saturday 5 July, Saturday 23 August, Saturday 30 August and Saturday 13th September.
The Crystal Grotto
The Crystal Grotto is open in all seasons, apart from on Christmas Day and Boxing Day when Painshill is closed.
Please note, the Crystal Grotto is closed on Mondays due to maintenance (except for Bank Holiday Mondays).
The Crystal Grotto will be closed for wedding ceremonies on the following dates:
Monday 12 May, Friday 4 July, Friday 25 July, Monday 28 July, Friday 1 August, Friday 8 August and Friday 22 August.
Mr Hamilton’s Tea Room
Mr Hamilton’s Tea Room is open daily, all year round, apart from on Christmas Day and Boxing Day when Painshill is closed.

Things to See & Do
Painshill is an award-winning 18th century landscape garden where you are invited to walk around a work of art. Winding paths will take you on a journey to discover a living canvas with beautiful vistas and dramatically placed garden buildings. Stroll around the Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and promenade past follies, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and Turkish Tent.
