Get ready for a summer of fun! Get into the woods and go wild with amazing outdoor experiences whilst making friends and having lots of fun. Our experienced Forest School and bushcraft-trained staff have lots of exciting adventures planned, which will include the following activities…
• Culinary campfire creations – pizzas, donuts, nettle crisps, dandelion syrup and other interesting creations using wild food
• Capture the flag! And lots of other games too…
• Wilderness survival – shelter building, making stretchers & pinch pot clay lamp
• Natural craft including dyeing with foraged plants & berries, elder bracelets & leaf printing
• Animal tracking, bug hunts and the ongoing search for interesting animal poo
• Bushcraft – whittling & carving & butter knife
• Free play, tree climbing, running a café or pizza shack
We will be using the Forest school approach of listening to children to find out where their interests lie as well as suggesting and scaffolding activities, providing resources, skills and tutorage. We have a flexible plan for different activities so each day with us will be different and exciting.
