Go wild in the woods on our Wild Summer Holiday Camp 2025! Come with us on some epic outdoor adventures, making friends and having lots of forest fun along the way. Our experienced Forest School and bushcraft-trained staff have lots of exciting outdoor activities, games and tasty campfire-cooking planned.
Here’s a little taste of the sort of things we will be getting up to over the holiday…
• Culinary campfire creations – pizzas, donuts, nettle crisps, dandelion syrup and other interesting creations using wild food
• Capture the flag! And lots of other games too…
• Wilderness survival – shelter building, lighting your own fires & pinch pot clay lamp
• Natural craft including dyeing with foraged plants & berries, elder bracelets & leaf printing
• Animal tracking, bug hunts and the ongoing search for interesting animal poo
• Bushcraft – whittling, wood chopping, hand-axe carving a range of wooden creations.
• Forest school free play, tree climbing, running the forest café or pizza shack (or wherever your imaginations take you!)
We will be using the Forest school approach of listening to children to find out where their interests lie as well as suggesting and scaffolding activities, providing resources, skills and tutorage. We have a flexible plan for different activities so each day with us will be different and exciting.
