Story Makers is a creative outdoor storytelling session for children, designed to bring imagination to life within the magical landscape of Painshill. Set among winding woodland paths, lakes, and hidden follies, each session turns the natural world into a living storybook waiting to be discovered.
Children are invited to explore, listen, and create as stories unfold through the landscape. Led by experienced facilitators, each session blends storytelling, movement, and nature-based play to spark curiosity and imagination.
Rather than sitting still, children become part of the story—meeting characters, solving challenges, and helping stories evolve as they move through the landscape. Every session is different, shaped by the environment, the weather, and the children’s ideas.
Story Makers encourages confidence, communication, creativity, and a love of storytelling, while deepening children’s connection to nature in a fun and memorable way.
