Following a summer visit to Painshill, members of the award-winning Runnymede Art Society return to showcase a beautiful collection of artwork inspired by our historic landscape.
The exhibition will showcase paintings created during the group’s visit, offering visitors the opportunity to experience Painshill through the eyes of local artists.
Established for over 60 years, Runnymede Art Society was recently awarded Creative Arts Group of the Year 2026 at the Runnymede Borough Council Civic Awards. The society has around 50 members who meet weekly throughout the year, offering regular painting and drawing sessions, demonstrations and workshops led by professional artists, portrait and still-life drawing, summer outdoor painting, and seasonal exhibitions.
As a self-funding, non-profit association, Runnymede Art Society provides a welcoming environment for artists of all abilities to develop their skills, share ideas, and exhibit their work.
