On Monday 17th June, come watch our newest art installation emerge in our kitchen garden.
The Orchard Blacksmiths team will forge Painshill’s newest artwork, a new home for the Memory Leaves. The bespoke forged steel will ascend the oak pergola, appearing to be rising from the ground and climbing the surround, representing our very own vineyard’s annual growth.
Dedicated leaves (Memory Leaves) will hang from the artwork, symbolising a loved one, a certain moment in time, or a memory. Forged from steel, each leaf stands firm against the weather, basking in the sun or swaying in the breeze.
We are thrilled to see this commissioned work of art take shape and invite guests to witness its construction.
