Many of us start a New Year by setting goals such as getting out in the fresh air and walking off those mince pies and Christmas pudding!

Winter is a beautiful time when you can enjoy stunning sunsets, bird watching and bright frosty days.

5 wonderful new year ideas for beating those January blues and enjoying some incredible views and tranquil waters:

1. January Blues? See some incredible views

Take a walk along the winding paths and enjoy a journey to discover a living canvas with beautiful vistas and stunning garden buildings.

Stroll around the Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and promenade past follies, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and Turkish Tent,

2. Wild life? Go for a stunning walk and listen to the birds sing.

With a large lake, and the River Mole flowing past the boundary, there is no where better than to see some beautiful wildlife. There’s a buzzard that is not one to miss!
