Our Trustees
Neil Harnby
Neil is a solicitor and chartered company secretary. He was previously a partner in a London law firm and the chief legal officer to a number of large businesses over a 30 plus year legal career. He was an Army Officer in the first part of his career.
Neil has been a resident of Surrey since 1993, is passionate about the outdoors and is a keen gardener, historian and long distance road cyclist. He sits on a number of charitable trusts and is excited to help Painshill on its continuing journey of restoration for the benefit of the public.
Neil is a member of the Painshill Finance and Masterplan Committees.
Things to see & Do
Painshill is an award-winning 18th century landscape garden where you are invited to walk around a work of art. Winding paths will take you on a journey to discover a living canvas with beautiful vistas and dramatically placed garden buildings. Stroll around the Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and promenade past follies, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and Turkish Tent.
