Visitor Experience Manager

Fantastic opportunity is available at Painshill Park, Surrey, to become the Visitor Experience Manager.

Painshill is regarded as one of the foremost and finest examples of the English Landscape Movement.  Created by the Hon. Charles Hamilton as a living painting, Painshill invites the visitor to walk around a work of art to discover the landscape in 160 acres of dramatic follies, calming waters and stunning views. 

This is an exciting time to join the Painshill team and will give the right candidate the chance to thrive within the visitor experience and retail department.

Painshill has reached a stage in its evolution where the Trust is now planning for the next stage in its
growth. The challenges to be met include developing the visitor experience and associated visitor
facilities to ensure the highest quality in all that is undertaken. An experienced supervisor looking to
make the next step with the imagination and drive to work with the Head of Visitor and Commercial
Operations through this exciting process of change and development.

The Visitor Experience Manager is a key role in the structure of Painshill working closely with the Head of Visitor and Commercial Operations to oversee various duties of the visitor experience to ensure that every visitor to Painshill has an exceptional day out.

The Visitor Experience Manager will ideally have experience in the heritage/visitor/hospitality sector with the ability to balance a range of priorities and a busy workload, and have the confidence to manage any eventuality.

SALARY:  £30,000 – £32,000 per annum (FTE) DOE

Hours per Week:

Permanent, Full Time – 5 days a week over a 7 day roster (40 hours per week, averaged over 52 week
period). Flexible hours are required as this post will involve regular weekend, bank holiday, early
morning and evening work.
