To celebrate World Wellbeing Week, Painshill will host a series of activities to promote overall wellbeing, all held within the tranquil grounds of Painshill.
Monday 24th – Friday 28th June 2019
Learn different techniques for supporting your own wellbeing and enjoy the benefits of being outdoors, surrounded by nature and stunning scenery.
Relax and unwind by signing up to a yoga or tai chi class, held at the top of Painshill’s tree lined amphitheatre.
Join a meditation workshop and gain techniques for meditation, including a walking meditation in the landscape. Or challenge yourself to spend an hour without looking at your mobile phone in Painshill’s very own Hermitage.
Get creative at an art class – take inspiration from the nature and discover how art can be used as a tool to boost your wellbeing.
Booking information to be announced shortly, please check back for updates.
During Painshill’s Wellbeing Week you can also….
Volunteer to walk a dog for Hersham Hounds, a local independent charity devoted to caring for retired racing greyhounds. Volunteers for Hersham Hounds can regularly be seen walking within the safety of Painshill, as we require all dogs to be kept on a short lead. Painshill will grant free entry to anyone who volunteers to bring a one of Hersham Hounds’ rescue dogs to Painshill on Monday 24th – Friday 28th June.
Try the delicious food and drink available at Painshill…
Enjoy a tasty smoothie whilst taking in the views from the Gothic Tower – fresh and healthy smoothies will be available to purchase from the Tower Café. (Mon – Fri, 11.30am – 2.30pm)
Try one of the delicious vegan/gluten free treats available in Mr Hamilton’s Tea Room (located in the Visitor Centre).
