Tuesday 7th April and Thursday 16th April 2020
10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm
We are off into the woods for some epic mini-adventures this Easter holiday.
On our morning adventures we’ll be exploring the woods and building dens. Families will have a chance to get creative decorating dens with simple willow weaving as well as crafting a stick animal toy or woodland jewellery.
For our afternoon adventures we will be discovering fire craft and campfire cooking. Each family will light their own mini campfire to toast a treat. We will go foraging for wild food before cooking a feast including campfire doughnuts and stinging nettle crisps.
We will be outside for the duration and adapt our activities to the weather – if it’s rainy we will make streams and use tarpaulins to make dens, if it is cold we’ll run around like crazy to keep warm!
You can book just the one or you can book both and turn your mini-adventure into a great big adventure. If you are still full of beans after, entry to the Painshill is included.
If you have any questions, please email the education team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Suitable for children 5 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult, maximum 3 children per adult.
