If you are looking for a summer holiday activity camp in Surrey then consider Painshill Wild Summer Camp in Cobham. Kids can have a wild time with den building, woodland craft, campfires, treasure hunts and outdoor fun.
Mondays: Wild Bush craft
Into the woods to build a shelter – but make sure it passes the water-proof test. Discover how to spin willow bark twine to make a natural wrist band you can decorate with homemade tree beads. Start your own campfire for toasting well-earned marshmallows.
Tuesdays: Wild Creations
With a morning of exploration and games and a chilled afternoon of woodsy-crafty workshops including dream catcher weaving, den decorating, cave painting and more. Make a fire pit to bake clay creations (and toast marshmallows).
Wednesdays: Wild Fun and Games
Explore the Victorian Water Wheel with our (very watery and very wet) water wheel games, including the Bottle Rocket. Paint canvas and cloth with colourful designs and build tipis in which to have a picnic lunch before an afternoon of wild games. Finish the day making, decorating and eating frozen banana lollipops.
Thursdays: Wild Woodland
A day deep in the woods. Build micro-dens and sand castles and create a massive woodland village. Track badgers and birds, seek out wildlife in the log pile and make a bird fat ball to take home. Gather sticks and twigs to build a cooking fire to roast and toast campfire doughnuts and other tasty camp fire treats.
Fridays: Wild Dens
Use sticks, rope and leaves to build an enormous woodland den. Decorate it with charcoal, chalk, clay and willow creations before lunch round the camp fire and an afternoon of wild games in the woods.
