The Temple of Bacchus Restoration

Join long-standing Painshill Guide, Jan Clark, to learn more about one of Charles Hamilton’s most spectacular follies at Painshill. With archival research and archaeological excavations of the Temple now complete, detailed architectural drawings have been developed and restoration of the superstructure is underway. This informative lecture is a great way to find out more about the history of the Temple of Bacchus and how we plan to restore the folly, along with its rich heritage and reputation.

Includes light refreshments.
