Freelance Education Officer

The Education Department at Painshill is seeking seasonal Freelance Education Officers to work alongside the Education Team during the busy period of May to mid-July. An enthusiastic approach to interaction with children and the practicalities of outdoor education is a definite must.

Main responsibilities of the position will involve:
Leading activities on school and youth group visits. Painshill offers a wide range of activities across the curriculum, for a full list of activities see the education section of the website. This would also involve any preparation work required for the visit (i.e. putting resources out) and helping tidy and organise at the end of the day.

Whilst some previous experience of working with children would be beneficial, it is not essential as you will be fully trained. The hours would be approximately 9am – 3:30 pm.
