 | Painshill celebrates its American connections
Posted: 26/07/2011 The Hon Louis B Susman, United States Ambassador to the Court of St James’ visited Painshill, to mark 225 years since the 2nd and 3rd Presidents of the US, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, visited the 18c landscape gardens in 1786.

 | Painshill Park Trust receives The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service
Posted: 02/06/2011 Painshill Park Trust is delighted to announce that its loyal team of volunteers has received The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for groups of volunteers who work in their local community for the benefit of others.
This prestigious UK National Honour recognises outstanding voluntary contributions and sets the national benchmark for excellence in volunteering, with the work of those awarded being judged of the highest standard.

 | HRH The Prince of Wales visits Painshill
Posted: 26/05/2011 His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Royal Patron of Painshill Park Trust, visited Painshill today to view the ongoing restoration of the 18th century landscape and its iconic follies and to unveil a plaque commemorating the rebuild of the historic Five Arch Bridge. The Prince of Wales met many of the staff and volunteers who have contributed so much to the ongoing transmogrification of Painshill since his last visit in 1995, and helped them to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Trust. | More Information |
