Painshill Park has been described as landscape theatre in which the spectator moves from scene to scene. Staged around a huge serpentine lake, surprises come at every turn - a Gothic Temple, Chinese Bridge, Ruined Abbey, Grotto; a Turkish Tent, Gothic Tower and spectacular Waterwheel, all disappear and reappear as the walk proceeds. Painshill is delightful all year long, its moods changing with the seasons.
Painshill Park is also the perfect place for fantastic events and activities all year long. Families and all visitors to the Park can join holiday adventures* (Halloween, Venice Carnival, Nature Explorers, Theatre Experience), monthly craft workshops, art competitions, puppets show, music in the Park and all year discovery walks and trails around the landscape.

*Joint membership = member plus one guest
**Family = 2 adults and 4 children 5-16
NB children under the age of five are free. Joint Membership is recommended if you have children under five.
