As well as a strong base of superb volunteers, Education at Painshill Park has the privilege of working with student teachers on placement and students on work experience to help run this unique outdoor education facility and keep our learning programme fresh and exciting.

Volunteers
Volunteers bring so much to Education at Painshill Park, from helping children stick puppets in holiday workshops to sewing costumes and so much more. They are a creative bunch! Many of our volunteers are retired teachers and help us review our activities and trails, but all have a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. It is a great team and great fun!

Placements and Work Experience
We welcome the experience, expertise and enthusiasmn student teachers and work experience  brings to Learning at Painshill. We can provide a unique insight into outside the classroom learning, and hopefully give student teachers lots of great ideas and inspiration.  There is a whole range of ways students on work experience and placements can help, from shadowing our education staff to getting creative and helping us put together new activities and craft ideas.
